VITERBO – SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO – RELIGIOUS ITINERARY

1st DAY: VITERBO AND THE MEDIEVAL QUARTER

Arrival at Viterbo. Guided tour of the historical centre. Lunch in a typical restaurant.

End of the guided tour, transfer to La Quercia and visit of the Church.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

2nd day :VITERBO/PIETRELCINA/SAN M. ARCANGELO/S. GIOVANNI ROTONDO (FG)

Departure for Pietrelcina in luxury coach. Free time for breakfast on the way.

Arrival at Pietrelcina and visit of the house where Padre Pio was born.

After the visit, departure for Monte S. Angelo (cave of S. Michele Arcangelo).

Free time for lunch. Tour of the suggestive cave in the early afternoon. Free time for prayers and/or

Mass. In the evening departure for San Giovanni Rotondo.

Arrival and registration in the reserved hotel. Free evening to visit the village and/or

the Sanctuary, or for prayers and the Rosary. Dinner and overnight stay.

3rd day : SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO/LANCIANO/VITERBO

Breakfast in the hotel.

Guided tour of the Hospital: the equipment, the work carried out. Free time to pray

and/or to listen to the Mass or to buy religious

items.

The purchased objects and relics can be blessed

by the Priest at the Reception in the Church. Guided tour of the

Church and of Saint Pio’s places of worship. Lunch in the hotel and

departure for Lanciano. Visit of the Sanctuary of Lanciano.

Departure for Viterbo and free time for dinner in a motorway restaurant

or snack- bar. Arrival at Viterbo in the evening and overnight stay.

4th day : VITERBO

Breakfast in the hotel, free time and return trip.
